Survivors include his wife, Geneva J. Branscome of the home; son, Arlis Dale Branscome of Willis; daughter and son-in-law, Dianna Nester and Darren Austin of Fancy Gap; and granddaughter, Tia Cheyenne Austin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at New Harvest Ministries at 11:00 AM with Pastor Roy Bentley officiating.
Burial will follow in the Branscome Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
