Coleman Seymour was born January 5, 1931 to the late Thomas and Hallie Seymour in Nashoba, Oklahoma, and he passed away at home on November 20, 2013. He was the tenth of thirteen children.

Coleman met his love, Dean Seymour, in 1946 and they were married August 29, 1948 in Paris, Texas. They set a true example of devotion through 65 years of marriage. Coleman and Dean lived in Rattan, Oklahoma on a farm in a house that he built. They later moved to Wanette, Oklahoma and then finally settled in Moore, Oklahoma.

Coleman worked as a welder making cattle chutes for Silver King Cattle Shoots and as a farmer. He was a hard-working man who could get anything done or fixed. He loved old westerns and OU football. He was honest and fair and straightforward. He was a beloved dad and grandpa who can't be summed up in words.

Coleman is survived by: children Jerry Seymour of Banning, California and Sandra Mathis of Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren Amy Pippenger, Brad Seymour, Laurie Lazzar, and Shelley Bates, all of Banning, California, Melissa Casarez of Oceanside, California, and Cheryl Vogler of Moore, Oklahoma; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
