Appears on a Muster and Descriptive Roll of prisoners of war belonging to the Army of the northern Sub-District of Arkansas, and surrendered on the 11th day of May, 1865, by Brigadier General Meriwether Jeff Thompson, C.S.A., commanding said Army, to Major General G. M. Dodge, U.S.A., commanding Department of the Missouri.

30th Arkansas Infantry Regiment - Organized, June 18, 1862, assigned to McRae's Brigade, Hindman's Division, January through February of, 1863. Reassigned to Tappan's Brigade under MG. Sterling Price, April, 1863, where the regiment fought in the Battle of Helena and, in the defense of Little Rock on September 10, 1863. Retreated, into southwestern Arkansas, where the regiment was consoldated with the 32nd Arkansas Infantry, December, 1863. Fought throughout the Camden Campaign and, at Jenkins Ferry, April 30, 1864. Consolidated again with Dawson's Infantry Regiment, April, 1864. Remained in service in southwestern Arkansas until surrendered with MG Kirby Smith's Army on May 26, 1865.

December 17, 1867, David Marion Canamore & Martha Jane Robinson Canamore sold 280 acres of land at Township 15N, Range 5, for $200.00 to James H. Edwards. Signed with an X. Someone signed their names as D. M. Kenamore and Martha Jane Kenamore on the land records. David & Martha owned four houses and parcels of farmland at the old homestead area, just off County Road 960, not far from the present Goobertown Store and the Antioch Church.
