Joseph Henry Ivy, 85, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 2, 1928 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Henry and Joysa Ivy. Mr. Ivy grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas but resided in the Corpus Christi area for most of his life. He served in the Navy for three years, and worked for Southwestern Bell for 36 years before retiring. Mr. Ivy continued working on his property in Sweeney for the next 10 years raising cattle and selling hay.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Oradell Laing.
