Services for Edgar A. Ahrens, 72 of .the White Oak Community, Harper Road, were held Saturday in the Beckman Funeral Home in Fredericksburg with Rev. E.L. Arhelger officiating. Interment was in the Garden of Memories. He died last Thursday at his home. Rev. Glen Bundy officiated at a devotional service Friday. He was a native of Gillespie County and a longtime rancher. Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenton Ahrens, of Kerrville; a daughter, Mrs. Kermit Fritz, of San Antonio; two brothers, Arno and Arthur Ahrens, both of Fredericksburg and five grandchildren.
