On Wednesday of last week Kiel relatives received the sad news of the death of Mrs. Simon Arnold at Milwaukee, which occurred in St. Joseph’s hospital in that city on Tuesday, after an operation for goiter.
Anna Wendling was born in Shawano county July 13, 1884, and had reached the age of 36 years. She was married to Simon Arnold in Kiel about 19 years ago, where the couple resided nine years, Mr. Arnold being employed here as blacksmith. Ten years ago they moved to Milwaukee where they have since resided.
Deceased leaves to mourn her untimely death her mother, her husband, three daughters, one son, two brothers and three sisters.
The funeral was held on Friday at Milwaukee.
