KIMMY WIGGINS DIES
Kimmy Wiggins, 80, a retired nurse, died suddenly in an Andalusia hospital Monday evening, January 17.
Mr. Wiggins roomed with his brother, Marvin Wiggins, in a boarding house on Riley Street.
A native of Covington County, Mr. Wiggins moved with his family to Montgomery as a young man. He returned to Andalusia nine years ago to be near his family after his wife's death.
Survivors are three sons, Albert E. Wiggins, South Dakota; Lloyd Wiggins, Galveston, Texas; Jared H. Wiggins, Radcliff, Ky.; a daughter, Mrs. Odessa Wright, Reno, Nev.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one other brother, Wiley Wiggins, Andalusia; and a sister, Mrs. Earl Bryant, RFD 2, Dozier.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 20, at 10 a.m. from the Foreman Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ivey Watson officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery near Dozier.
