From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tuesday, July 3, 1928, p. 15:

Mrs. Ella Campeau, 48, of 1223 Grainger Street, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday in a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Fort Worth Undertaking Company chapel with Father W. H. Kelly of St. Mary's Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Survivors are her husband, A. J. Campeau, a son, Charles; three brothers, Bud, Hobart and Hardy Carnes, Fort Worth; and four sisters, Mrs. W. Wines and Mrs. L. Green, Fort Worth; Mrs. F. M. Patton, Bowie, and Miss Dolly Carnes, Houston.
