Katie Bell Burton, 77, of Milton passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Mrs. Burton was a native and lifelong resident of Santa Rosa County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Kimmons, and Girlie Lee Weekley Kimmons; her husband Thomas Edison Burton, and a son, Timothy Scott Burton.
Mrs. Burton is survived by two sons, Bobby D. Kimmons of Milton and David Burton of Atlanta, Georgia; a daughter Carol Bishop of Pace; a brother Julius J. Kimmons; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Burton will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Lewis Funeral Home in Milton with Elder Wayne Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Memory Park Cemetery with Lewis Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 8 pm on Monday evening, November 18, 2013 at the Lewis Funeral Home in Milton.
