Bobby D. Kimmons was born into this world on March 30, 1953; and departed for Heaven on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the age of 63.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Katie Bell Burton; and his brother, Timothy Burton.
Bobby is survived by his soul mate and wife of 42 years, Trisha Ann Kimmons; two sons, the eldest is Robert Chad Kimmons and wife Valerie, and youngest son Michael Shain Kimmons; seven wonderful grandchildren, three tough boys and four strong girls.
Bobby D brought much love and laughter to all that loved him throughout his life. Trisha Ann, the love of his life, and the deep blue sea were some of his favorite things, along with a good ‘ole BeeGees tune. His legacy will always be with us until we meet again.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Burial will follow in Crain Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2016, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton.
