Macomb, IL - Ann C. Moon, 82, of 647 S. Randolph St. died at 6:35 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 1993, at McDonough District Hospital.
Born Sept. 27, 1911, in Emmet Township, McDonough County, to Evan and Nellie McGann Chatterton, she married Howard Moon on Sept. 7, 1938, in St. Louis. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Judy Murphy of Monmouth and Marty King of Columbia, S.C.; two brothers, Lewis Chatterton of Macomb and Richard Chatterton of Carneys Point, N.J.; four sisters, June Cole of Macomb, Billie Solomon of Macomb, Dee Vandenberg of Green Bay, Wis., and Ruth Searcy of Defiance, Ohio; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Saint Francis Medical Center School of Nursing in 1936. She worked at the former St. Francis Hospital in Macomb and at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. She was an American Red Cross volunteer.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Macomb.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
