Clifford Paul Martin of Bethany, OK, was born on October 7, 1927 and passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2013 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 86 years. His wife of 67 years, Faye Martin, and his beloved pet, Sunny Beau, preceded him in death. Mr. Martin was retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company in November 1991 after 35 years of service. He spent the last 21 years living in Bethany, OK and was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene.
Clifford is survived by four children, Elaine Martin Brummett of Bethany, OK, Jimmy Martin and wife, Frances, of Rio Rancho, NM, Donna Martin Secor and husband, Fred, of Yukon, OK and Bobby Martin and wife, Jan, of Bethany, OK; seven grandchildren, Scott Secor and wife, Brooke and great granddaughter, Rylee, of Oklahoma City, OK, Clifford Martin and wife, Desiree and great grandchildren, Makayla and Justin of Albuquerque, NM, Samantha Secor Monroe and husband, Justin and great granddaughter, Allison of Benton, AR, Pamela Martin Cockrell of Bernalillo, NM and great grandsons, Nathan and Jason Martin, and Tyler Martin, Loren Martin and Logan Martin of Bethany, OK; sister, Ruth Swank of Pryor, OK, and a host of nieces and nephews.
His parents, Henry Otis & Alma Martin; three brothers, Glenn Martin, Kenneth Martin and Ralph Martin, and sister, Ruby Boatright preceded him in death.
The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon, November 17, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral services for Clifford are scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, November 18, 2013 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Terry Toler officiating.
