Josephine C. Lauzon, 97, formerly of LaMarque, passed away February 11, 1995. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. February 14, 1995 at the Chapel of James Crowder Funeral Home in LaMarque. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home, with burial to follow service at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock.
Mrs. Lauzon was born April 12, 1897, in Mobile Alabama and she is the widow of the late Francis Wiley Lauzon.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Margaret and Jerry Moreland; sons and daughters-in-law Chubby and Margaret Lauzon, Leo and Fran Lauzon; sisters-in-law Marie Reil, Lura Mae Lauzon, Corrine Maverick; brother and sister-in-law Walter E. and Vivian Pennington; brother-in-law Parry Lauzon; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be G. Leo Lauzon, Jr., Walter E. Pennington, Jr., Ted Foster, Edward Lauzon, Troy Moreland, and Joe Greene.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to a favorite charity of your choice.
