Agnes R. Gober, 89, of Minersville, passed away Thursday morning at her home. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Regina Holahan.

Agnes attended the former St. Kieran's school, Heckscherville, and was a graduate of the former Cass Township High School. She worked in the local garment industry, the former Miracle Mart, Minersville, and retired from REDCO. She was a member of St. Matthew the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Minersville, and was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Kostka Roman Catholic Church, Minersville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Sheik" Gober, in 1980; three brothers, James, Larry and Edward Holahan; and three sisters, Katherine Rowlands, Mary Martin and Dolares Pacini.

Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Siembieda and her husband, Fred, Huntington Beach, Calif., and Tina Saurazas and her husband, Bill, Pottsville; two sons, Joseph Gober and companion, Debra, Shenandoah and Alfred Gober and his wife, Josie, Buck Run; 11 grandchildren, Ronnie Smolskis, Lisa Smolskis, Karen Ackerman, Brian Smolskis, Billy Gober, Mary Setlock, Heather Leonard, Candace Paul, Allan Green, and step-grandchildren, Adam Saurazas and Sara Saurazas; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
