Winn-Virginia M. Albert, 62, died November 13, 2013, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born October 28, 1951, in Lincoln, the daughter of James and Marie (Crocker) Albert. Virginia graduated from Lee Academy in 1971. She spent most of her life caring for her family members that were sick or in need. She served as Postmaster in Winn for more than ten years. She dearly loved her cats.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Corro; a brother, James Albert; and a nephew, Joseph.
She is survived by a sister, Susan Deveau and her husband, James; a brother, Earle Albert and his wife, Phyllis; nieces and nephews, Aaron and his wife, Carolyn and their son, Tyler, Laura and her son, Lucas, Shannon and Wesley and their children, Karlee and Andraya, Daniel and Jessica and their children, Kanyun and Grayzun, and Sergei, Vadim, Katie and Andrew; a brother-in-law, Barry Corro; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She also leaves special friends Jimmy, Brenda and Marilyn.
