Chester B. Nelson, 86, of Hilltop Village, died last Wednesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital. Rites were held Friday afternoon in the Chapel at Hilltop Village with Rev. Gus Schulze and Rev. Dale Hasson officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories under the direction of the Kerrville Funeral Home. Born in Cripple Creek, Miss. August 16, 1889, he was employed by the Gulf Oil Co. over 30 years. He moved here about 11 years ago from Austin. Survivors include a brother and sister.
