Jerry Lee Wilkinson, 70, of Hopewell Township, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009, in Donnell House, Washington, following a lengthy illness.

He was born October 11, 1938, in Washington, a son of Charles Frederick and Juanita Morrison Wilkinson.

For 45 years, Mr. Wilkinson was employed at MolyCorp, where he was a member and past president of the union.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

On April 25, 1959, he married Sheryl Rogers, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, James (Sandy) Wilkinson; two daughters, Jackie Wilkinson and Bobbi (Joe) Rubic; a sister, Phyllis Naser, all of Washington; six grandchildren, Lindsey, Kaycee and Cody Wilkinson, Tyler Miller and Josie and Abby Rubic; and two great-grandchildren, Remmie and Jake.

Deceased are a daughter, Gerry Ketter; three brothers, Clarence, Charles and S. Dean Wilkinson; a sister, Norma Dinsmore; and his stepfather, Bill McGillen.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 12, with Pastor Michael Roach officiating.

Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
