Greenleaf Cemetery by Mr. Bob Day pg 139B.W. was the son of Levi Millholland and his wife Sarah Jane "Sally" Lindley.

In the early 1850's B.W. went with family on a wagon train from Missouri to California. His father, Levi was the Captain of the 175 wagon train.

1856 Sept 29 - B.W. & family arrived in New York from Panama (ship "Illinois"). Evidently, the family left California by sea rather than land.
The next record found on the family, they are in Texas.

1861 - Enlisted as a Confederate States Soldier. He was Company A, Capt. Geo. Pickett's Cavalry. His service was described as "mounted home-guard, protecting frontier against Indians."

1865 - Discharged from C.S.A. at close of war, Wise Co. TX

1867 July 10 - Married Letha Lindley, who was his 1st cousin. Letha's father, Samuel P. Lindley and B.W.'s mother, Sarah, were siblings.
1870 - Residence, Hopkins County, Texas
1880 - Residence, Hopkins County, Texas
1900 - Residence, Sulphur Springs, Texas
1910 - Residence, Brownwood, Brown, Texas
1920 - Residence, Sapulpa Creek, Creek, OK
