Gloria Marie (Triggiani) McDaniel was born on April 29, 1935 in Oelwein, Iowa the daughter of Veto and Arminda Elizabeth (Thomas) Triggiani. She grew up in the Oelwein area and attended Sacred Heart Catholic School there. Later in her life she moved to Pleasantville, Iowa where she work for R. R. Donnelly and raised her family. On November 7, 2013 Gloria passed away at her home. Gloria enjoyed her dog Benji, cooking for everyone, making people laugh, taking long drives, looking at the beautiful fall leaves, crossword puzzles, watching her grandson race, and spending time with her friends. Her greatest enjoyment came from her time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and all who truly knew her.
Gloria is survived by her two sons: Don Potter of Swan, Iowa and Lynn Potter of Augusta, Kansas; her three daughters: Diane Bender of Swan, Iowa, Marilyn (Mark) Maeschen of Pleasantville, Iowa and Chris (Jim) Bender of Swan; nine grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald Triggiani; her sisters: Darlene Schwartz and Dorothy Lillibridge; and her parents, Veto and Arminda.
