Peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Leisureworld Care Centre, Elmira at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Murray Brown (1987). Devoted mother of Marnie (Bill) Doolittle, Brian (Judy), Bruce (Rose), Linda (Harry) Liese, Robert (Irene), Beth (Brian) Beatty, the late Blair (Diane), Brenda (Gary) Cooper, Brent, Barbara (Alex) Lee, and Bradley (Natalie). Lovingly remembered by her 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Vivian (George) Morgan, Margaret (Robert) MacDonald, brother-in-law Norm Clement, sister-in-law Eileen Thomas, and by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Blanche and John Morris Thomas, sister Florence (Cliff) Batty, brother Bill Thomas, sister-in-law Beth Clement, and brother-in-law Grant (Kay) Brown. The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Elmira on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. In her memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Trinity United Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. A special thank you to all the staff at Leisureworld, Robin's Grove for their care and compassion.
