Mrs. Albin Gregoire, 79, of West 613 Highway 149, Kiel, was dead on arrival at St. Nicholas Hospital Tuesday evening, after apparently being stricken by a heart attack at her home.
The former Irene Nett, she was born April 15, 1904, in Marytown, a daughter of the late Arnold and Anna Pitzen Nett. She attended St Mary Catholic School, Marytown. On June 1, 1926, she and Albin Gregoire were married in Kiel. The couple farmed in the town of Russell until 1942 and then farmed in the Town of New Holstein until retiring in 1965. She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, its Christian Mothers Society and the Kiel Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Yaniak of Milwaukee; one son, LeRoy of Minneapolis; four grandchildren, and one brother, Alvin Nett of rural Kiel. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral Mass will be at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Kiel, with the Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
