She was born in Knightstown, November 2, 1934, the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy Ottinger Smalley.
She was a graduate of Middletown High School and retired as a secretary from New Castel Community Schools.
She was a member of Tri County Christian Church in Middletown.
Survivors are one son: Matthew (Sarah) Dillon of Windield, MO and one daughter: Arlena Fleming of Hicksville, Ohio, four grandchildren, 1 brother; Eugene McMeans of Texas and 2 sisters: Carol (Lynn) Farley of Bearlake, MN and Linda Orsborn of Richmond, IN, nieces and nephews, special cousin: Don Smalley of Middletown.
