Arnold John Suhr, 95, of Santa Fe died Monday. He was born Dec. 1, 1901, to Franz and Marie Suhr in Staplehurst, Neb. He married Ruth Irene Baker in 1924. He worked as a skilled carpenter, refrigeration and air conditioning technician and a railroad mechanic. He was an elder at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wyoming, Minn. He is survived by his children, Jack L. Suhr and wife Dee of Clearwater, Fla., Marilyn Olwin and husband Dick of Jemez Springs, and Wesley Suhr and wife Carol of Chupadero; sister, Ann Copperstone of Glenwood, Iowa; brother, Jack Suhr and wife Charlotte of Tecumseh, Neb.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Berardinelli Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, also at the Berardinelli Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosario Cemetery.
