He was born at Belleville in 1870. He was married in 1903 to Mrs. Bertha Williams Ward, who preceded him in death.
He leaves son Daniel of Perryville, Mo.; daughters Mrs. Clyde Wheat of Red Bud, Mrs. Lester Whitworth of Fredericktown, Mo., Mrs. Ren Riney of Chester and Mrs. Ted Lacey of Chicago; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at the Schroeder Funeral Home, Chester. The Rev. Frank W. McLaughen will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Chester.
