Mike was born in Abilene, Texas on December 5, 1939 to David Jack, Sr. and Ava Maurine Dickerson Bryant. He graduated from Abilene High School, in 1958, where he was a 1957 all-state tackle on Abilene High's Football "Team of the Century." Not long after she graduated Abilene High in 1961, Mike married cheerleader, Crystal Ragsdale.
Mike is proceeded in death by his parents, among others. He will be remembered by his wife Crystal; by children; Leah "Shelley" (Jim) of Ohio, and Brennan (Alex) of Irving, Texas; by his grandsons, Christopher and Zachary, of Ohio; by siblings and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews; and many more.
