His step-father is Charles Elsworth 'Chub' CLIFFORD.

According to the 1940 U.S Census, Amil, single, was living in Muncie and working as an inspector at an automobile factory.

In the 1950 Census, Amil is listed as divorced. I have found in Indiana Marriages, 1810- 2001, that he was married to a Crystal (MATSON) COOK on 22 Dec 1945 in Indiana.

Amil was killed by a train at a railroad crossing 2 miles west of Muncie, Delaware Co., Indiana. "Auto in which he was a passenger was struck by NYC Railroad Passenger Train" according to his death certificate.
