Funeral services for Neva Edith Evens, Gentry, Ark. were held Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel in Lincoln, Neb. Burial was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Lincoln. She was born Dec. 28, 1915 near UnionvUle, Mo. and was the daughter of Charles and Rebecca Allen. She died Feb. 7, 1983 at the home of her daughter in Lincoln. On Nov. 24, 1936 she married Charles W. Evens and he preceded her in death April 13,1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Gilbert (Phillis) McMillen, Nebraska; Mrs. Lewis (Violet) Etherton, Florida; Dennis Evens, Colorado; Dean Evens, Tennessee; Mrs. Elmer' (Norma Jean) Gregory, Illinois and Warren Evens, Nebraska; two brothers, Elva Allen, Unionville, Mo. and Zora Allen, Cincinnati and nine grand children.
