Simon Huether was born on December 14, 1865 in Odessa, Russia.

In about 1877 Simon and his parents immigrated to Emery, South Dakota, U.S.A.

In 1885/1887 he was united in marriage to Caroline Gross. They had 15 children, ten daughters and five sons.

In 1905 the family moved to McClusky, North Dakota and in 1910 came to Beiseker, Alberta, Canada where he farmed east of town. It was at this time he became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Simon married 4 times. Each wife preceded him in death.
He married Caroline Gross in 1885/1887. His 2nd marriage was to Katherine Hagen on February 5, 1909. His 3rd marriage was to Margaret Bentz on September 16, 1946. His last marriage was to Christine Meidinger in 1947.

Simon passed away on April 7, 1969 in the Linden Nursing Home near Beisker, Alberta at the age of 103 years.
