Bertha Louetta Steele, 87, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Pocahontas Health Care and Rehab.
Born August 1, 1926, in Jamestown daughter of James Walter and Henrietta Manuel Bufford.
She was former director of the First Baptist Day Care for over twenty years and a member of the Imboden United Methodist Church.
She was united in marriage to Joe Steele November 25, 2944 who preceded her in death May 13, 1998.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters and her parents.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Joe Steele and wife Janet of Imboden and Roger Dale Steele and wife Marty of Mountain Home; five grand-children, Joby Steele, Amanda Steele Keller, Christopher Steele, Jonathan, Steele and Jaimie Steele; eight great grand-children, Payden Steele, Molly Steele, Caleb Steele, Rylan Steele, Callie Steele, Alexie Keller, Stephen Hickman and Arianna Keller and many other relatives and friends.
Burial was held at Alderbrook Cemetery with Bryan Funeral Home in charge.
