Earl Swisegood,62,formerly of the Plymouth community, now of Macomb, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 4, 1952, following a stroke. He is the son of the late George P. and Emma (Larkin) Swisegood and was born on a farm northeast of Augusta.
He was reared and educated in the Augusta and Plymouth communities. He was married in 1918 to Miss Maude Collins of Plymouth, who survives with their five children: Eleanor, George, and Patricia of Macomb; Virginia L. of Ft. Pierce, Florida, and Marian Nolan of Chicago. In addition, he leaves four brothers, and one sister.
He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Elks Lodge of Macomb.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, May 7, in Macomb with burial in Round Prairie Cemetery near Plymouth.
