For more than three-quarters of a century she had been a kind friend, a lovable neighbor and a good christan, and she will be sadly missed by the entire community.
Mrs. Tawes is survived by the following children; Messrs. Jas. F. and L.E. Tawes, Mrs. Jas. F. Loreman, Mrs. Edward Wharton, Mrs. Hattie Tawes and Mrs. I.P. Horsey.
Funeral services were from Immanuel M.E. church yesterday (Friday) at 2.30 o'clock, with Rev. C.A. Hill officiating. Interment was in Crisfield cemetery.
