1963 - Mrs. Amanda J. (DeLong) Roeder, of 16th Street, Emmaus, was dead on arrival yesterday morning in Allentown Hospital after being stricken in her home. She was 77. Born in Vera Cruz, she was a daughter of the late Amandus and Maria (Schueck) DeLong. Her husband, Elmer Roeder, died in 1934. Mrs. Roeder was a member of New Goshenhoppen Reformed United Church of Christ, East Greenville. Surviving are two daughters, Florence, at home, and Lillian, wife of Lester Young, of Allentown, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 1 :30 p.m. Friday in the Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus.
