The Post-Star, Glens Falls, N.Y., Saturday, January 25, 1969:
Smiths Basin--Mrs. Phoebe Stewart Saville, wife of the late Frank Saville, died Friday morning at the Pleasantview Infirmary in Fort Ann. Mrs. Saville was born in Hadley on Aug. 6, 1888.

Mrs. Saville is survived by five sons, Ernest of Hudson Falls, Alfred of Kingsbury, Fayette of Cropyville, James of Averill Park and Gordon of Colorado; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Gladys) Gondella of Troy, Mrs. John (Ethel) Manley of Colorado, Mrs. Bernard (Mary) Ottman of Mt. Hope and Mrs. Kenneth R Winchell of Hudson Falls; a sister, Mrs. Effie Losaw of Glens Falls; 23 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are to be announced. Interment will be in the spring in Morningside Cemetery, Hartford.

Friends may call at the Allen Funeral Home, Fort Ann, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
