Genevieve Jansen, 78, Mosinee, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, after an accidental fall at her home in Mosinee.

She was born December 11, 1934 in Mosinee daughter of the late Joseph and Martha (Simonis) Tryba. On April 29, 1954 she married Benjamin Jansen. He preceded her in death September 14, 2011.

She loved bowling, square dancing, spending winters in Laughlin, Nevada, sewing and camping. Genevieve was very meticulous. She and Ben cherished their family and friends.

Survivors include her four children, Jacalyn Lee (Clarence) Cisewski, Larry A. Jansen, Raymond B. (Sue) Jansen and Paul B. (Elaine) Jansen, ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two brothers, Ernie (Veronica) Tryba and Chet Tryba and a sister, Mary Iwanowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers; Daniel, Harold and Raymond and two sisters; Ida Grochowski and Lorraine Dombrowski.

Services will be at10:00 am Saturday November 9, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mosinee. Rev. Donald Przybylski will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 pm Friday November 8, 2013 at Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee and again from 8:30 - 9:30 am Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
