According to the memory of a family member, he died in Feb. of 1972.
He served time in the United States Army during World War II.
Roosevelt married Vida Mae Winters and later migrated to Milwaukee, WI. They had no children.
It was my joyous duty, as a child to carry to Vida Mae a daily fresh supply of milk that my parents took from the cows (by hand). She was not stingy with treats and rewards and I loved going to their house next door, (before they left). Aunt Vida Mae is being cared for in a Care Home in Milwaukee, WI.
