Willie Zim Moore, 95, died Friday 9 February 2012 at Desert Treasure Residence in Tucson Arizona. She was born September 9,1916 in Hamburg Arkansas. She and her family settled in Washington State in 1949, where she taught and worked as a librarian in Sunnyside until her retirement. She moved to Tucson in 2004. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, and was active for many years in community service and activities. In her later years she travelled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. She is survived by her sons, Phillip Moore of Phoenix Arizona and Ken Moore of Sahuarita Arizona; two granddaughters, Natanya Moore of Portland Oregon and Nira Morning, of Covington, Kentucky and her great-granddaughter Chloe Johnson, also of Covington Kentucky. Those wishing to honor Willie's memory may contribute to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church or Disabled American Veterans. A graveside inurnment service will be held at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside at 2 PM on Friday May 4, followed by a memorial service at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside at 2 PM on Saturday May
