A native of Macon County, she was a daughter of Henry Milas and Minnie Mae Fair Anderson. She had live in Thomasville for 23 years. She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Assembly. She was employed at Dillard Plastics as a plastic bag machine operator.
Surviving are her husband, Alex W. Garland, two daughters; two sons, one sister; one brother; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at 4 p. m., in the Sechrest Chapel with Rev. Jim Jemming and Rev. Clayton Hulin officiating. Burial was in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
