BELMONT ~ Coyte Calvin Lingerfelt, 88, was a son of the late John Dewey Lingerfelt Sr. and Beulah Roper Lingerfelt. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Frances Yount Lingerfelt; brothers, J.D. Lingerfelt, Jr., Torrence Lingerfelt and Paul Lingerfelt.
He was a man of great faith and a true gentleman. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and Korea and worked with Duke Power as an accountant. He was a former member of First Baptist Church and attended Belmont Foursquare Church.
Interment in Gaston Memorial Park with Military Rites presented by the Gaston County Honor Guard.
