Lillian was born Aug. 23, 1924 in Monongahela, Pa., and came to Youngstown in 1927 with her family as a child.
She attended Woodrow Wilson High School, and was a homemaker who dedicated her adult life to raising and caring for her family.
Lillian was a member of St. Brendan Church in Youngstown, was a member of the church's Altar & Rosary Society, and was a greeter at the church for weekend Masses.
Mrs. Bathory's husband of nearly 50 years, Stephen Z. Bathory, whom she married June 14, 1947, passed away June 7, 1997.
Lillian leaves her daughter, Patricia Klucher of Youngstown; a granddaughter, Lisa Thompson of Canfield; two great-grandsons, Kyle and Alex Thompson; a sister, Anne Kutsko of North Carolina; and many nieces and nephews, including Georgette (Dominic) Peters, whom she always considered to be a second daughter.
Besides her husband, two sisters, Helen Mesaros and Mary Jane Rusnak, are deceased.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where Lillian will be laid to rest next to her husband.
