Moe served our country with the U.S. Army and Army Reserve. He was married to Katheleen Moulton on November 28, 1957 and together they settled in Connecticut.
Moe worked for Colt Firearms in Hartford for over 30 years and later went on to enjoy driving commercial trucks. Moe was an avid golfer and Red Sox fan; he enjoyed riding his Harley, playing cards, pool and reading. A kind, caring and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother, he will be greatly missed.
Along with his wife Katheleen of over 56 years he leaves, three sons, Steven Delage and his wife Moira McNally of Glastonbury, Donald Delage and his wife Linda of Enfield and Maurice Delage Jr. and his wife Martha of South Windsor; his daughter, Debbie Delage Caouette and her husband Andre of Enfield; his brother, Adrien Delage and his wife Alice of ME; his sisters, Lorette Laverriere of ME, Doris Marks of NY and Pauline Tardie and her husband Clayton of Enfield; devoted grandchildren, Jeffrey Delage and his wife Amanda, James Wonsik and Sarah Wonsik, Maurice Delage III and Matthew Delage; and two special great granddaughters, Kayla Jones and Olivia Delage. He also leaves a granddaughter, Jennifer and her two children, Izabell and Isaiah and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Armand, Raymond, Roger and Paul Delage.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013, 2:30 p.m., at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Poquonock
