Martha M. Schack, 84, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday morning, January 27, at Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Schack, nee Martha Kautz, was born June 27, 1898, at Remberg, Pommeranie, Germany, and immigrated to the United States in 1923. She settled in Manitowoc, residing here since. She was married to Ludwig Tittl Sept. 6, 1924, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1947. She was married to Willie Schack Sept. 17, 1949, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Sept. 27, 1965. Mrs. Schack was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Women's Guild, Sewing Circle and Vocational Homemakers.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Siegfried and Esther Tittl and Frederick and Rita Tittl of Manitowoc and Clarence and Lois Tittl of Two Rivers; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ruth and Paul Arndt of Manitowoc and Mrs. Elizabeth Linn of Sacramento, Calif.; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Melvin and Janice Schack of Pompano Beach, Fla., 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several brothers in Germany.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. There will be no Friday evening visitation. Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ.
