It needs to be noted that Phillip Coonts is NOT the Father of any of Katherine's siblings that were born prior to November 16, 1850, the date that Phillip Coonts and Maria Cherry applied for a marriage license in Washington County, Ohio. Henry Coonts, more than likely a brother or at least a VERY close relative of Philip Coonts, was the Father of those children. Katherine, known more commonly as "Kate", was married to Dudley W. Dye, Son of Amos Dye and Marie Taylor, on November 5, 1879 in Franklin County, Ohio.
Kate and Dudley had the following children which can be accounted for in records:

3. Helen Dye
4. Wilson Dye
5. Winifred Dye
6. Lester Norrine Dye
