Private, Company E, 27th LA Infantry
Enlisted 4/9/1862 at Camp Moore in Tangipahoa Parish
Present on rolls from March to May, and March to August, 1862. Absent sick, presumed dead on rolls from July to November, and November to December, 1862.
unknown at this time where he was buried, though it is highly likely due to family information that he is buried in the Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, Bienville, Louisiana near his descendants.
Family legend says that his middle name is Warren because his mother was a Warren. I believe he was born in Mississippi between 1830 and 1840. He married circa 1858 to Rhoda Collinsworth. They had 3 children that I know of.
still researching. Please contact me if you wish to share information.
