Carrie Ella is Benjamin Wilson Maddox's sister, They are both the children of Benjamin (W B) Maddox #98689075 and Lizzie McGowen Maddox #145479859 (b 1863-10 Mar 1925), married 23 Aug 1885 in Laurens County. This Lizzie McGowen is not the Lizzie McGowan the younger Benjamin marries after his 1st wife dies. Quite confusing, I have not connected the 2 Lizzie McGowans yet to see how they are related, the younger is most likely a niece of the elder .
