Fannie married David Peter Musser in 1889 in McKenzie, Tennessee and settled in Dayton, Ohio, where she had three children by him.
David and Fannie divorced in 1911, and she began working as a waitress for the Fred Harvey restaurant chain, which was also her older sister's employer. In about 1915 she remarried to James Dudley Lincoln, a railroad engineer. They retired to Albuquerque about 1937 and remained married until his death in 1941. Fannie Lincoln died in Albuquerque in 1944 at the age of 74, and was buried in Dayton, where she had raised her family.
