Florence E. Dell, 91, Altoona, died Sunday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of Ira C. and Sarah E. (Sandrus) Miller.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen Sessamen; two sons: Ronald L. and William J.; 20 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry L.; two sisters: Marion O'Brien and Pauline Glover; and a brother, William C. Miller.
Florence had worked for S.H. Kress & Co. and retired from Woodward & Lothrop department store in Washington, D.C., in 1984 as a payroll clerk. She was of the Methodist faith, and she enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and watching TV.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Elder William J. Dell officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
