Billy Jack Frost, 77, of Fort Smith, Arkansas entered into rest on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in his home.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and by his wife Maxie Ann.
Jack founded Frost Oil Company in 1977 and was a member of the Arkansas Oil Marketer's Association and Oklahoma Petroleum and Convenience Store Association. He enjoyed golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with full military honors is 2:30PM, Friday, November 1, 2013 in Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Frost and his wife LaDonna of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one daughter Jana Frost of Little Rock, Arkansas four grandchildren, Jacki Frost of Denver, Colorado and Dalton Frost of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Judd and Max Finks both of Little Rock Arkansas; three sisters, Johnnie Dover and Patsy Phillips both of Mena, Arkansas and Mary Slater of Hildreth, Nebraska; four brothers, J.D. Frost of Greenwood, Arkansas and Benny, Ron and Don all of Mena, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are David Harger, Richard Keel, Jack Marts, Bob Miller, Rufus Paul, Jr. and Ray Stroud.
