Obituary provided by Crackers:

Austin America-Statesman from 7/30/2007 - 7/31/2007. Peggy Jane Arnold Lovelace passed away peacefully Saturday July 28, 2007. She was born April 14, 1934 in Nocona, Texas. The youngest child of Robert and Rhoda Arnold. Peggy grew up in Gainesville, Texas; she graduated from Gainesville High School and attended Jr. college there as well. She married the love of her life, Everette 'Lefty' Lovelace on June 19, 1954. Peggy worked at the Internal Revenue Services in Austin and later retired from IRS after 20 plus years of service with them. Peggy was a HUGE Texas Longhorn Fan - to quote her - :I bleed orange:; in particular, she enjoyed her season tickets to the Lady Longhorn basket ball games. In addition to her love of sports, she was a collector of dollhouse miniatures and belonged to the River City Miniaturist Club and of the Society of American Miniaturists. Peggy was generous to a fault - taking in every stray around both human and animal; there wasn't an animal around her neighborhood who didn't look forward to her nightly treks around the block where she would hand out doggie treats, 1 for each dog she met. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Lefty and their son Brian; her parents and 2 brothers. Peggy is survived by her daughter Laura Lovelace Schmidt and her husband Rob; her son Ronny Lovelace and his wife Robin, grandchildren Jon NcNabb, Scott Lovelace and his wife Valerie, Tabitha Lovelace, Veronica Lovelace Lorenzen and Ben Lovelace; great grandchildren Erin Hall, Ethan Lovelace and Alexia Lorenzen; her sister Alma Francis of Wichita Falls Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends of whom she was fond of. She will be greatly missed by us all. A family visitation will be held Tuesday, July 31st from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. at Wilke Clay Fish Funeral Home, 2620 Congress Ave. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at Wilke Clay Fish, 2620 Congress Avenue with burial following immediately at Forest Oaks Cemetery.
