I have been researching genealogy since August, 1989. I have traced some of my family back to England and France/Germany. My husband's family back to the East Coast, but not sure where they came from..
I have 4 children, 11 grandchildren and 8 gr-grandchildren.
I volunteer at the local genealogy library on Monday afternoons.
I very much love putting up Memorials for loved ones. I also add others when I find an obit I can use for the dates. This is such a great site and I meet so many nice people.

It reaches out to all who care; It is too late to mourn. You did not know that I exist; you died and I was born. Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse; entirely not our own. Dear Ancestor, the place you filled one hundred years ago spreads out among the ones you left who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew that someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you. )
