FRIONA — Elvera "Tootsie" White, 92, of Friona died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church in Friona with Pastor Ted Taylor of Hereford Church of The Nazarene and the Rev. Brett Hoyle, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Friona Cemetery. Arrangements are by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona.
Mrs. White was born April 27, 1921, in Hale County to Ernest David and Elva Dee Akers Matlock. She married Henry Noah White on June 7, 1942, in Edmondson.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie White of McGee, Ark., and Donnie White of Friona; a brother, Thomas Matlock of Abilene; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Prairie Acres Nursing Home, 201 E. 15th St., Friona, TX 79035.
